Adressing the Placecard - when the wife is the doctor

hey brides,

I have a bunch of girlfriends who are doctors. Many of them use their maiden names and they wrote their maiden names on the rsvp cards.
How do you address on the placecard?
Is it this way?

Doctor Jane Doe & Mr. John Smith.

Also, I have guests who are pharmacists.
Do pharmacist have a different title after their name or adress them as Doctor as well.

Any advice is great
TIA
Jan

My cousin is a doctor and she prefers to have letters addressed: Mr.& Dr. Joe Smith
I think it sounds a little funny, but thats the way she wants it written.

Yup, you're correct -- it's Doctor Jane Doe & Mr John Smith
(If she is a medical doctor it should be spelled out as you have above, if she is a PhD you can abbreviate and write Dr)
I'm not positive about the the pharmacist, but I do not believe they have a title and my etiquette book doesn't say anything about using one (and they list tons of titles in this book)

The Doctor should go first, even if her last name is different.

So my sister and her husband were:

Dr. Sarah Ga**** and Mr. Rob Smur***
