I want to go look for dresses there next week... anybody have any experiences with them? Good, bad, indifferent? Anything?

You can check my review to see...(on bride's review) but they were wonderful for me with my wedding gown, but terrible with the bridesmaids and flowergirl....if you go, Cleo is the BEST seamstress they have. But they have a great selection and good prices. It's a cozy little shop and I also got my veil and tiara there. Hope this helps!

I've heard mixed reviews...some girls love, some girls have not. But you can probably say the same thing for every bridal salon.
I have only been there for a bridesmaid gown, and I wouldn't go back. We ordered gowns in September for a July wedding, or at least thought we did. My friend who was getting married followed up with them in March to make sure everything was fine and the order wound up never being placed. Apparently the dress had been discontinued but never told my friend, and therefore the order never went through. They knew they messed up so bad they actually custom made us exact replicas of the dresses we had 'ordered'. It worked out fine in the end, but my poor friend was a mess.

2 of my friends got their dresses there and they loved it. However 1 of them had a stain on their dress which they got out. A third person I know who went there loved it and got her dress there but it never came in. She had to go some place else 8 weeks before her wedding.

I went there for my prom dress ages ago.. loved them then.. we'll see when i go for BM dresses..
Its hit or miss i think with the reviews.. hopefully you'll have a nice experience

I went there and had a good experience. However, I ordered my dress from another salon because they wanted $575 more for the same dress!

My experience so far has been wonderful. I found the gown of my dreams, and every time I wanted to come in and try the sample, or my gown before my first fitting, they were more than accommodating. I went to look at veils there yesterday and they were very helpful (although I ended up buying my veil at Patchogue Floral Fantasyland for like one-tenth the price.) I'd recommend them in a minute.

I got the BM dresses there, and my mom got hers there. THe BM dresses were ordered in October and came in in Feb, right on schedule. They have not gone for alterations yet, so I can't tell you how that was. My mom ordered her dress in Nov, and it came in March, also on time. It was in perfect condition, but she is geting alterations done elsewhere.
I don't have any experience there for bridal gowns though.

I had a great experience with them! I went to tons of bridal salons looking for a dress, and the woman who helped me picked out the perfect one! I loooove it!!!

I have had a good experience working with them...one complaint...they told me my dress would be in November and didnt come in until January. It was no big deal since my wedding is in July... BUT it made me kind of mad that I couldnt get a straight answer. I dealt primarily with the owner and she was very helpful and honest.

I have also heard mixed reviews. I got my dress from them and have had a wonderful experience so far. My dress came in exactly when they said it would and I just ordered a veil from them also. I'm not sure it is possible, but try to make an appointment to try on gowns with Sofia - she is great!

My sister got her dress there and they ordered the wrong size. They said she gained weight, but I was there when she went for her fitting and she actually lost weight. We saw the tag and they ordered the wrong size! You need to be on top of them with everything.

Well i've had a positive experience with them so far. I had this woman named Jeenie who helped me find my dress and she was great. I had my FMIL, FSIL and my mother who is handicapped with me. Now with all of us, it's very easy to lose your patience and they were WONDERFUL with us!!!
***Here's a little tip though... go early in the morning... like when they open at 10am because you'll have the place to yourself. The earlier, the better!!! Around 12-2 is so hectic in there! Good luck!

so far so good. They said my dress would be in mid march - and it came early March (correct size and everything). They estimated the BM dresses would be in May, and they are in already! I plan to go down to make sure they look ok just to be safe.
