adult family vacations?

Hi guys,

Haven't posted in a gazillion years...my mother would like us all to go on a family vacation. We are all for it, but want to go somewhere tropical where you can have the best of all worlds.

My husband and brother surf, my brother-in-law golfs, my uncle fishes, and me, my mom, and sis want to park our butts on the beach and go window shopping.

I know it's a handful, but does anyone have any ideas? Oh, and the flight can not be any longer than 4-5 hours.

TIA!!

Key West, FL is all I can think of that's 4-5 hours away where you can Surf, Golf, Fish & sit on a beach & go shopping...

St. Thomas or Aruba?

I don't know about surfing there but the rest of it fits the bill.

Hawk's Cay in Key West is a great family place and pretty reasonably priced.

Also Atlantis, Puerto Rico, Bermuda,

Maybe Orlando?

No ocean near by.. more along the coast..

Maybe St. Augustine, FL.. it's more North than Key West.. It's really beautiful there.. Especially along A1A

Carribean cruise? You can pick one where the stops have good golf courses...

I did a family vacation on a cruise (adults) and we had a blast!

I was going to suggest a cruise too, it has a little bit of everything.
