i think it all depnds on what you would like. we arent having children but we have the cut off at the really young ones. as for the rest its parents choice if they want them there or not

we are also having an adult reception, but my cousins who are 16 and 18 are invited. I think anyone is high school is mature enough to be invited

it all depends on your guests and what you want. Aside from immediate family (my aunts & uncles with their kids) we arent inviting children. Most of the children though are aged 10 or under so it was easy.

We are doing the same. FH has two cousins who are going to be 18 and 16 by our day, and the flower girl and ring bearer (3 and 6) are going to be invited too, otherwise that's it!

I'd say a mature 18 IMO

My brother will be 16 on our wedding date and he's a groomsmen so we're inviting his best friend, who is also my second cousin. so we're using our second cousin as a benchmark of 18+ only. Expect for the FG -- who'll only be 3, the RB who'll be 8 and my brother 16.

We couldn't really have a 'cut off' - FH's family has a ton of kids ranging from 14-5 months old! We only invited first cousins (most of whom are in HS). His niece and nephew are our FG and RB. His new nephew is 5 months old and not coming.

So far it seems as though it is a problem for his family that kids aren't invited! Some of his cousins have replied 'no' :(

We invited immediate family with kids and our cousins. On my side, the youngest is 16 so it's fine. On his side, our ring bearer is 5 and then his cousins kid is 2 but well behaved. We only invited her because they just moved ( he is in the Coast Guard) and really had no one to leave Aubrey with.

His brother keeps RSVPing with their 4 month old...and I keep flipping out

We are not sure if we will have a flower girl or not. So far, we are having the groom's cousins (14, 16, 18) but those are the youngest guests invited

no one under 18 will be at the wedding. I think there are only 2 ppl that will be there between 18-21 actually
