Advice for all the DIY'er out there...

START NOW!!! I'm serious. I've been doing projects all day...and i totally don't want to do it anymore. I was actually jealous of FH because he had to work tonight. hahahaha.

We had a hard time getting started on the projects because a LOT of people didn't RSVP on time (or at all) and we had no idea what the final number was, so we couldn't start until we tracked down every last person (we finally finished contacting everyone only last week!).

And then we had to rush to get all the supplies in...and basically we'll be spending the entire next week just cranking out everything out. It's pretty stressful!

So, whatever you can get done, just do it NOW...so you can relax before the wedding.

I also developed a huge ZIT on my chin from the stress, I think (and I don't really ever break out)....

Yeah they do...we even set our RSVP date for over 2 months before the wedding! And we were STILL calling people up to two weeks before the wedding. It's so rude. i'll never mail in another RSVP late again!

Thanks for the headsup and I commend you for all the hard work. I see that your headcount is almost 300 and I know that's a lot of time and effort that you put into your DIY projects. A big to you!

ive started all mine earlier this year. i did not want to be doing things last minute. all i need to do now is the invites, menus and seating chart.
