Advice for everyone

Today was the funeral for FH's friend that committed suicide. He was supposed to be married on August 31st. My advice is to never take anyone for granted. Not your FH, friends, family, no one. I would have spent much more time talking to Jimmy 2 weeks ago if I knew it would be the last time. Don't sweat the things that seem like a big deal. Tuesday night I was crying because of student loans, and Wednesday I was dealing with this loss. In comparison, everything seems small when you are faced with losing a friend. And lastly, don't forget to tell everyone who is important to you how much you love them, because one day they really just may need to hear it. Prayers for Jimmy, his fiance, family, and friends.

Oh man
I am so sorry for you and FH's loss my prayers go out to his family fiance and friends ... I dont take life for granted ever since I lost my dad ... I am so scared of loosing someone else., however thank you for the reminder!

what a great point!! thanks for taking the time to write that! its so true, and sadly something like this has to happen for us to realize! I hope his family finds the strength to deal with this!

that is so true. almost 3 years ago now my brother suddenly died of a drug overdose. I never got to say goodbye. last convo I had with him was on aim about me selling a calculator on ebay for him lol. 5-6 hours later he died. he was only 19. I was the one to find him too. at least it wasn't my parents though.

one minute we're hanging in his room watching butterfly effect, next he's gone and we're at his wake. my ex bf dumping me at the time (b4 he died) suddenly seemed so stupid to be upset about. to think of all the stuff he never got to do. it's so sad.

I felt bad too. I was so busy with my own life, and turning 21. I wish I had talked to him more, spent every moment I could with him. no one ever knows. any day someone can suddenly be gone. it's even worse when it's sudden.

you are absolutely right! i'm so sorry for your loss and I will definitely not let the little things get to me like i have the last few weeks. so sorry again......
