I tried it once two years ago and gave up after two months. I looked like I was in desperate need of a hair cut. Any advice?

Re: Advice for growing out bangs?
I JUST cut bangs into my hair and I hate it. They look and feel weird on my head and I seem to have a hard time controlling them. I wish I hadn't cut them in.

clips... headbands (hate headbands, they hurt) start blowdrying them off to the side, and eventually it'll stay there.

Try using clips and pulling it back. They will grow in before you know it.

Wow! Quick responses! I guess I'll invest in some headbands and clips. I also want to look good and put together and I think last time I tried this, I looked dowdy and like I couldn't afford a haircut.

also try getting them trimmed to blend into the sides of your hair (when they get a bit long)

Clips and bobby pins are your friend. Blow drying to the side was helpful to me too...then clipping.

PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE!
I have grown out my bangs a few times.
I used to bobby pin them to the side and tuck them under my other hair so it looked like it was all one length.

That's a good idea, Cat. BTW, I have no patience. But I'm determined to do this. Thanks for the advice.
