Advice -- Looking to hire babysitters for wedding day
Hi everyone! This is my first post although I have been reading the site for over a year. It has been extremely helpful in my planning and also a fun diversion at work. Even my 'FH' has gotten ****** in at times doing research.
Question -- I am going to have a lot of young children at my wedding and I am looking to hire at least 2, possibly 3 babysitters to watch the kids in the bridal suite so that the parents can have a fun day. Does anyone have any advice about how I could find them? I am nervous about just looking on Craigslist.
TIA!

Do you know anyone with a teenage child that would be willing to make some extra money? I would try to go through someone you know cause then you have a little more trust in them.

I wish I could use connections but none of the parents are on LI and I live in Manhattan. I know of some sitters in NJ but I would prefer to find people based on LI. Thanks!

I have a friend that uses the teachers from her daycare. She likes that they know her kids but also that they are CPR certified. You might try calling the local day cares in the area of you RH, I am sure they are always looking to make more money.
Good luck.

Thats a really good idea. I agree with asking a family friend's daughter as well.

What about hiring entertainment for the kids also, like a clown or a magician that can lessen the responsibility on a babysitter and allow the children to have an awesome time?

Aside from all the other good ideas, I would ask rh if they have anyone that has been used before.
