I’m seriously second-guessing one of my vendors. I should have done more research and booked them somewhat hastily. It’s a vendor that can pretty much make or break the party and they haven’t received the kindest reviews. I’m trying to contact other “better reviewed” vendors to see if they even have any availability. I’m nervous about canceling a vendor so close to my wedding. I feel like it’s bad karma. Do you think I’m being neurotic? Or should I just go with my gut and find someone else?
I obviously would only cancel if I had someone else lined up.

Re: Advice needed
it depends on why you are second guessing. are the issues something you think can be fixed if you bring them up?
If you really think you'd be better off with someone else, I'd look around and if you find someone that sits well with you, cancel.
you still have time. if you find someone you like, it doesn't really matter if you book a week or a year in advance.

Re: Advice needed
if you feel that uncomfortable and really dont want the original vendor u went with then i suggest you find someone else you like, check to make sure they are available first, if they are then cancel and rebook with new person...i dont think its bad luck or anything i think if you are that nervous then you should change

I would re-book and then cancel your original vendor. If you have a bad feeling now, imagine what it will be like on your wedding day. Good luck!

You may lose a deposit but if it gives you peace of mind, go with your gut my date twin.

I agree with Jessica completely. If you can talk to this vendor about your concerns, then do so. I would do some research in the meantime. If you find someone that can put you at ease, book! If you need any advice, help, or just need to vent FM me!

Re: Advice needed
after booking i vendor i started to second guess...i gave it a few days..talked to them about my concerns and felt much more at ease. all of the desicions you are making now can be overwhelming. if u still feel unsettled, you should rebook with someone else!!!

Re: Advice needed
you have to go with your gut. Are you second guessing because you read a few bad reviews? Remember every vendor has both positve and negative reviews. Or did you have some bad experiences? Only you know how you feel and what will make you happy. If this vendor is totally stressing you out, its not worth it.
