Advice Needed Please

Advice Needed Please

Hi ladies, I am a regular poster on LIWs but since my family tends to lurk I created a fake screename for privacy purposes

I have extremely irregular cycles and have just begun charting this past month. While I haven't charted to a 'T,' I have been checking CM and using ovualation sticks to try to determine when I'm ovulation.

Well according to these factors, I *think* I should have ovulated sometime last week, either Tuesday or Wednesday. I got a very strong surge line and the CM was consistent.

Flash forward to this weekend. I begin feeling VERY 'weird' Strange, unusual pains in my tummy, EXTREMELY achey, sore boobs (like no PMS I've ever experienced before) , the works. Yet I cannot even begin to believe that this could be preggo symptoms this early, could it? Its only been DAYS past OD, not weeks. Yet I cannot deny the symptoms and the fact they are very non-typical of my normal PMS

So my question is basically HOW soon would you really start to get any preggo symptoms , and is it actually possibly to 'feel preggo' just days after you THINK you ovulated and perhaps conceived?

Or is it just wishful thinking on my part and I'm just hoping for pregnancy

Any advice would be helpful ... Thanks for listening

I don't know about physical symptoms but I definitely 'knew' I was based on how I felt. Something was off and I couldn't exactly tell you what.

Good luck!!!

I think that it's DEFINITELY possible to feel changes in your body in a matter of days. I 'knew' that I was preggo (becuz the boobies felt like they were growing a triplet!) about a week before AF was due. It did suck to wait to test though... because that HCG hormone can't be caught until close to when AF was due.

Good luck, and BD!!!!

Only you know what is 'normal' for you - If you are feeling anything abnormal than that could be a good sign.
I didn't really 'feel' anything differently right away, but everyone is different and anything is possible!

Re: Advice Needed Please

Thanks to you ladies for your replies and well wishes I am going to wait until sometime next week to take a HPT, since by then I'm guessing it will be anywhere from approx. 12-16 days past ovulation.
I do definitely feel different. But I know that sometimes when you want something so much you start to convince yourself its true, so I just wanted to see if I was overreacting

Thanks again!

Re: Advice Needed Please

Some women feel symptoms as soon as 4 dpo. I know I did. But you might want to wait a few days to take a HPT because you need to give the HCG levels a chance to build up (to get a BFP).

Baby dust to you!!!

In the past, my mind has played tricks on my and I thought I was pregnant by all the symptoms I thought I had....when I was actually pregnant, I didn't believe my body and the symptoms. I thought it was my mind playing tricks on my again...

Good Luck!!!

I felt cramping a week before my Af was due. Then the sore boobs started. You never know. Unfortunately PMS symtoms and preggy symptoms are so similar, its hard to be sure.Good luck. It could be good news.

With this pregnancy, I had symptoms RIGHT away... within 4 days or so... I knew the whole time something was different and kept testing, and testing, and testing, while DH didn't believe me... then one morning, I woke up and I knew that was the day. Tested and got my BFP... listen to your body!

Re: Advice Needed Please

Thanks again for all the input girls . It is reassuring to know that I'm not going crazy and that some of you indeed DID feel 'different' shortly after conception. I'm really impatient and would love to test NOW but I know that its silly to do so this soon.

Hopefully I'll have some happy news to report soon. Thank you!!
