FH's great-aunt who lives in florida sent him a check as a gift for my shower (i already knew she prob wouldnt make it). I haven't had my shower yet but i suspect it to be sometime next month... do i send a thank you card now or just wait until after the bridal shower? and how exactly should i word this? any advice appreciated! thanks girls!

i think i would just send it now to get it out of the way. say something like 'sorry you won't be able to join us for the shower', etc... im assuming she sent the check as a gift cause she's not going to the shower, right?
