I am getting married at the fox hollow. I believe tables are oval with 10-12 guests. What do you think about a dozen roses with candles of both sides of it? is it not enough or it would be okay. Please help. I need to meet with florist. thanks.

Re: Advice on flowers, please
you should ask your florist if that will be enough but personally i do not think so. i think you would have to do @ least 2 dozen. roses are not a minimalist flower - its not like a cala lilly where only a few look great.
good luck!

Re: Advice on flowers, please
Ummm... I don't necessarily agree with the other posters...
I used to work at a florist for 5 yrs...
If you put it in an arrange ment it might look a little empty...
but if you put it in a LOW 6x6 square vase with different types of filler like Monti, or Soldiago or even waxflower... I think it could look really nice and full...
It all depends on the type of look you are going for...
To defend the other posters... if you are anticipating putting only 1 doz roses in a high centerpiece... Then I don't think it will be enough either...
I think you need to explain to the florist what you want and they will let you know if its enough or not.
GOOD LUCK!!!
PS if your florist is only 'OK' then I would get lots of tears and bring all the things to the table

Re: Advice on flowers, please
add tons of full flowers along with the roses...
for exampe im getting lots of hydrangea and peonies and maybe 5 roses will be in the arangement - because im getting a mix
I think you might want more than a dozen roses. For my low cps, I am getting 18 roses, with filler. Will your florist make you a sample? That way you will be able to see what it will look like and you can decide if it is full enough.
