Advice on invitee...
I grew up w/ this girl who's father lived next door to me. She would come up from Fla. to stay w/ her dad every summer until we were like 14. Then b/c of high school and college I did not see her much.
She tracked me down about three years ago to invite me to her Florida wedding. I wound up not going b/c I couldn't find a travel buddy and it was too much $ for me. But I thought that was nice of her to think of me.
Now - I haven't really talked to her in a year althought there has been an e-mail back and forth a few times. I visited her last summer to see her new baby. All of the e-mails of mine ended with 'I will give you a call!' but I just never did.
Here it is a month before my wedding and I still have not called her to tell her I was getting married. She is still on my guest list but I never sent the invite b/c I just procrastinated on getting her address etc. I recently received an e-mail telling me of her new e-mail address.
What do I do? I think she will be hurt if I get married and don't even tell her - nonetheless don't invite her! Is it too late to do that (I doubt she would come considering she would have to get a plane and all!) What do I do? I feel like such a rotten person!!!
