Advice on where to stay in Moorea (Tahiti /Bora Bora/ Moorea honeymoon)

Ive heard great things about both of these places, any advice?

Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa (ex.-garden bungalow w/ plunge pool) or the Intercontinental Resort & Spa Moorea

We are in the process of booking our honeymoon with Travel Tom and we just want to make sure we are going to have the most amazing stay!

We are also planning on staying at the Bora Bora Intercontinental Resort & Thalasso Spa OWB for 4 nights!

CANT WAIT!!! Any advice would be helpful!

i stayed at moorea pearl and it was absolutely amazing. but i must say when we saw the intercontinental on one of our lagoon tours we fell in love.

Travel Tom is AMAZING!! Definitely call him, and trust me, I am a HUGE researcher. It is all on the phone and email, and you will be very very impressed!

My inlaws went to tahiti, and they said if htey ever go back they would just go to bora bora only.

If you read reviews alot of girls seemed to love bora bora the best.

If i was going their for my honeymoon i would defin stay at bora bora the longest or just go there

Oh really! So you would say the Intercontinental in Moorea looked good?? Cause we havent heard too much about it on here, but it had great reviews on tripadviser!

Oh yes, change it! If you're doing 9 nights total, I'd do 3 in Moorea and 6 in Bora Bora. And definitely do Bora Bora LAST.

By the way, the IC in Moorea did look really pretty when we passed it during our excursion.

it was really nice. we met a couple and they said they loved it there and the food was really good.

oh and between bora bora and moorea...it depends what you like. if you like to go sightseeing and do more things, moorea is definately the place. bora bora is lot more remote than moorea. also, a lot of the resorts on bora bora are on it's own motu away from the main island. we personally liked moorea better. only b/c it was more 'civilized', the stores, the people, the restaurants etc. but if you're into just relazing by the pool and never leaving the resort, bora bora is best. altho our fae restaurant was at bora bora...def go check out Bloody Mary's.
