My wedding is October 21, 2007, and I only started planning about two months ago. Now that I finally have all my addresses together, I have a bit of a conundrum for inviting the out of towners (mostly concerned about those overseas in England, and those in California).
I was going to do Save the Dates, but it seems almost too close to do so. Should I just mail out ALL of the invitations (once I pick and get them, ugh) early? Or some early? Or do Save the Dates?

I would just send the invites. It is pretty late for save the dates. Since you only have 4 months left...save the $$ on STD's and just send the invites early.

definitely send the invites out early - with overseas and long-distance OOTers, you can send them 3-4 months in advance if you want!

I have a lot of OOT guests also, so I sent all my invites out early. You could also call or email the overseas guests now to give them an extra heads up.

I would send the invites early, too. You can always just send them those overseas or long distance first and then to everyone else about a month later.
Or just send them all early!

we bumped our wedding up a couple of weeks ago and now have 3 months until our wedding.
We JUST ordered the invites and plan to send them out right away.
no need for STDs.. I just alerted my out of towners through an email.

I agree with everyone. I wouldn't waste your money on STD's - just send your invitations out a little early.
