advice please

Ok... I'm kinda 'iffy' if I want bridesmaids or not... Do you think it would be stupid if I don't have any... Just MOH and Best Man?....
I personally never cared for it... Maybe because I was a bridesmaid like 100 times and lost the thing for it...
My mother is pushing me to have them.. But I just don't know..

I think if you dont want them then dont have them! I have been to weddings where they only have MOH and BM. So you should do what you want!!

I'm not have a BP at all. Not a BM or MOH. Just FH and I. It want you and FH feel. Good luck.

I am not having any BMs or Bridal Party. FH will only have his Best Man there and his parents and maybe 5 close friends. Same with me.
No BMs = more $$ for you to spend on other things!

you don't not have to have them at all. Definitely need a MOH and BM because you need someone to act as witnesses.

When my brother got married my SIL only had her sister as MOH and my brother had his 2 BFs as GMs. It's totally fine.

Agreed! its your wedding... my mom and aunt told me i should have 12 BM/ GM because it looks sooo nice

NO ! 5 BM / 4 GM... I rather have people I care about vs. a lineup

I would wait until you make a decision about this. You have tons of time to decide. I would kind of advise all 2011 girls to wait on selecting their bridal party.

I just asked my bridesmaids in August/Sept and I've been engaged since Dec 08'

i agree with this 100%. girls wait to ask anyone. otherwise you will end up in a sticky situation.

i asked my girls in January 2009 so that was 15 months in advance & i have regretted it ever since.

ITA with this as well! I haven't decided how many girls I'm having so I'm holding off on asking anyone until I am certain.

Thanks guys for your advice and support... sometimes i feel that i need to make my family happy before me... however, i do have some time ahead of me, things may change.. but i have to stick to how i feel...
