I vote hotel! That way you can just relax and not worry about the house. Plus it'll feel like you're far, far away getting all pampered and done up!

I got ready at home only because my family is very sentimental like that. My mom insisted on it and to tell you the truth I was very happy that I did it. It was a MESS with all the girls and everything but it was so worth it.

If you already have the hotel room booked then go for it!

This was a tough decision for me too. Our RH offers a beautiful Bridal Suite to get ready in that is very picture friendly but when it came down to it, I really wanted pictures of me getting ready at my house that I grew up in on my wedding day with my sisters, friends and whatnot. Then we entertained the idea of going to the RH before the ceremony to take some 'fake getting ready pics' there but it really seemed to be too hectic so we are just going to get ready at our respective homes. It's really a personal preference I think

Sounds like getting ready in the hotel will be less stressful (with all the ppl. in your house & stuff all around). I would do that and enjoy your time getting ready! I'm doing that and am looking forward to hanging with my BM's & having a good time/ no stress before the wedding...

For my friends wedding...we got ready at her house. It was cramped with cr@p everywhere and people everywhere. There as nowhere to take pics without us moving sh!t out of the way. Depends on your house but the way it sounds with a lot of people there....maybe the hotel is your best bet

I personally never got the idea of why some people find it so important to get ready at home.

I got ready at the hotel.

my girls either got ready in their rooms if they stayed at the hotel, or they got ready in my room.

the last thing that i wanted to think about dealing with the week of the wedding was making sure everything was neat & tidy at home. when we left the house, it looked like a tornado had hit it

we stayed at the hotel the night before the wedding too, because we had a huge 'welcome dinner' near the hotel.
