i soooo second that!!! I had to 'kick' 3 of the girls I originally had (back in 03) because since my engagement party I havent spoken to them.... you just never know....
What do gals think about having girls in your bridal party that are childhood friends but are no longer as close as you used to be. I have two good childhood friends that moved away many years ago. To this day we still keep in touch by phone occasionally (every couple of months) but we haven't seen each other in 2-3 years. I feel awful that we have drifted apart. I dont even know their favorite things anymore. I would love them to be one of my BM's cause i love them dearly, but I am concerned that we no longer have anything in common and that things will be awkward. What do you think?

I would say no. Definatly invite them to the wedding though! I ran into this where I was the friend and my childhood friend was getting married. We hadn't seen each other in years and when we did finally it was oil and water. It is sad sometimes how people drift, I suggest keeping it to those you are close w/now, they know you for who you are today!

I am having a small BP because of this. I would rather everyone just come to the wedding and have a good time. I don't want everyone to have to worry about the dress and the money. Too much stress.
