Affordable bands?

Affordable bands?

Hi everyone-- is there such thing as a quality affordable band? When I say affordable band I mean like $5,000 versus over $6000? If anyone has suggestions please let me know! Thanks :)

Yes, absolutely..... I am paying onyl $2300.00 for mine and they're wonderful!

We're having a DJ, but if we were having a band, I would've went with the Touch all the way!!! they are great and I think they run around 5-6K. They used to play at Mulcahy's & Dublin Pub a lot and now they are a wedding band. I know I read an LIW review of someone who used them- do a search- they're great!!!!

haha thanks all! I did an inital search and it seemed like all the musical bands were really expensive and my parents are set on hvaing a band versus a DJ so I thought maybe some of you would have ideas of some on the less expensive side. Thanks :)

I know a few that are affordable:
The Touch is $5,500
Peat Moss and the Fertilizers is $5K
Elite Music is aroudn $5K
Code Blue was $5800

Chech out Soul Revival. They are providing our ceremony and RH music and are very affordable. We would have used them for our reception but needed a band that sings Italian and American songs. That band is costing us a fortune

Planet Groove, The Touch & Peat Moss all have the same agent, Omnipop. They have reasonably priced bands. Check out www.omnipop.com.

They also have Allstar - they are good too! Go to www.allstarlive.com and you can try to put in an inquiry without the agency & save 10%.
