Hi everyone! This might make me sound cheap but I really don't want to spend $40 on a card box. Anyone know where to get a pretty bird cage for cheap?? My aunt tried to loan me her bird cage from her real bird which just doesn't do the trick - not that pretty and the wires are too close together so big cards wouldn't fit through the slots. If anyone would loan their birdcage or knows where I can get one for like $20 by 5/23/09 pls let me know! As a back-up plan I think I will just try to use one of those hat boxes from Burlington or something... Thanks!

Oriental Trading Co. has one for $18, not sure what it would come to though after s&h, and you might have to 'rush' it at this point, so I don't know if it would end up much less than your $40 option. But wanted to pass it along anyways!

I ordered mine on line from save-on-crafts.com it was $23 with the shipping. It came in under a week and I used the cheapest shipping method.

I got mine at Bridal Elegance - 1870 East Jericho Turnpike- and it was only $25. I chose this cathedral one, but they also had bird cages. I wish I had a better picture. The part where the cards go into is a big glass house.
marshall's has had some really awesome ones. they're completely decorative, green or gold in color, leaves on them, etc, etc. under $20 also which is a plus!
