I wasn't sure I'd hire anyone to do my hair and make up at first, but now I'm thinking I should. I don't know when else I'll have the opportunity to do so, so I guess I should.
Can anyone recommend an AFFORDABLE hair and makeup person? If it's affordable enough, I'd like to pay for my four Bridesmaids' hair, as well.

Call the Andrew Steven Salon in Lindenhurst and ask for Courtney B. She's amazing!

I found Sandra Baldini (makeup artist) to be very reasonable give the high quality of her work. She is a vendor here on LIW -- definitely check her out!

Fire Monkey Hair Designs is a vendor on here and had really affordable prices.
Angela (my vendor) is doing me for 100 & 60 for my BMs - if you get to 1000 posts you get the diamond card so she knocks off 20 & 15 percent each, so worth it.
Kelly was to me a little pricey at 125 for makeup, but absolutely worth it between her talent, knowledge and her personality. Plus, that includes airbrush & eyelashes, and I've seen MUA who charge more on top of their base price for the same things. The good thing is that if you have at least 3 BMs for makeup she only charges 65 for each (it's 75 for just one or two)

I'm going with Glam Me Up, and paying for myself and my sister and Mom. I found that all the hair/make-up places are a bit pricey...unless you know someone personally to do it. I guess it's the price we pay My hair girl, whom I've known for years, is doing my hair...
