Affordable Island Honeymoon in July

My fiance and I trying to decide where to go on our honeymoon. We`re getting married on July 28, 2002, and want to go to an island that offers great beaches, various activities and a decent night life. We`re trying to keep the costs as reasonable as possible, therefore Hawaii and Tahiti are out. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Affordable Island Honeymoon in July

I am also getting married in July and one spot we are thinking about is Los Cabos Mexico on the Baja peninsula. It's quite different from the Cancun side of Mexico. I know it's not an island, but it seems to be affordable.

Aruba is good also.. expecially if you like to gamble. I went there and it cost us less than $5000 for everything(meals, airfare, activities) etc...

Aruba!

It's a wonderful island and the weather is great all year long. There is so much to do and it's not terribly expensive at all. If you're looking for an all-inclusive, there are several on the island. If not, most travel agents could find you a great air/hotel package. Good luck! Michele

I'm also getting married in July. I looked into the Celebrity Cruise (Century) and it was VERY reasonable. $3000 a couple for 1 week in Jaimaica, Grand Cayman and Cozymel.

Affordable Island Honeymoon in July

The Dominican Republic is a great vacation and is probably is as affordable as you can get. If you stay in the best hotel on the entire place, and go all- inclusive...food...drinks...everything...it will cost you under 3500 (per couple). The beaches are gorgeous, the weather is hot,great pools, bars, atmosphere, etc... The only thing I will say, is that if you are ulta picky when it comes to food, you may have a little bit of a problem...SOME of the restaurants (usually 5 or 6 in the hotel) food is very domicican, in preparation and selection.Good food, but differnt from the US..we enjoyed it, we eat anything. Its a great p[lace to go and really really cheap. Look into it.

all the islands sound great...to add.. bermuda...it is lateral to North Carolina, so the flight is shorter... margarita island off venuzuela...they have all inclusive deals, mostly americans and european tourists and you could hope over to venezuela and see Angel Falls
