I am back and forth about invitations... part of me thinks that they can be unnecessarily expensive, the other part wants lavish, over the top invites...
Can anyone recommend **affordable** vendors for letterpress? I've seen some online priced upwards of $12-$15 each; way more than I want to spend. I know letterpress is pricey but I have my heart 'set' on it...
TIA

Try Sesame Letterpress in Brooklyn. Letterpress is not an inexpensive process because it is done by hand. Felt your pain, I opted out for thermography myself.

Check out minted.com. I might use them for calligraphy and they do letterpress.

Forgot! Must be brain freeze from shoveling. Also look at Reaves Engraving in NC. Their house paper is very similar to Cranes. They have all of their prices online for engraving, thermography & letterpress: www.reavesengraving.com

Contact Judi at A Bridal Papperie in Plainview. She may be able to help you, they do letterpress. I know with thermography, they were the cheapest around because they do it themselves. No middleman.

Re: affordable letterpress invitations
I actually found an amazing deal through etsy. The vendor was blackbirdpress. She is actually not the only one who does letterpress on etsy so I would try and price out vendors on there.
