affordable Manhattan reception sites

Does anyone have any ideas for an affordable ($150/person) reception site in Manhattan?

It depends with the time of year. You can probably get a good deal in February.

You should also check out the knot NYC board.

Just to let you know, I am getting married in NYC and it is a lot more than 150 per person.

NYC Wedding Sites and Services

This is a start. One word: EXPENSIVE! We actually looked into Wescthester county-One place, I think was called Alphonse's of Westchester? Something like that, and they were affordable. Try looking for Friday, Thursday nights and Sunday mornings. We are getting merried in NJ (same ridiculous prices as NYC) and the place we are getting married at on a sat night is about 150. We got it for under 100 on a Sunday morning-ceremony at 11:30am and reception/cocktail hour starting at 12:00pm.

I believe I was quoted in this range for Central Park Boathouse. The next least expensive was the NY Botanical Gardens (I want to say 175 but can't remember). everything else was much more.
