I was wondering if anyone knows of a nice hotel to stay at kuai or maui? I am looking for something affordable for my honeymoon next summer. I would like rates around $200-$250 or less if possible. I want a beautiful room but we are going to be in Hawaii, I want to be out exploring. We are not pool loungers, perhaps a few hours, but we like to explore. Any suggestions?

get the 'hawaii for dummies' book. im reading it now and wish i had it before i booked everything!
Try the Kaanapali beach hotel in Maui... we paid $200 a night... and it was very nice... the only thing was the pool was kind of small, but it was very clean and every night we had candy on our pillows... they had a bar, entertainment, restaurants, etc. I've stayed there, so has my mom, and my MOH on her honeymoon.
If your book thru a site like priceline or hotwire you can get a really beautiful hotel in that price range...you just have to be okay with not knowing until you buy.
Im staying at thr Hyatt but Im not sure how much a night we are paying I wish I could be more helpful but through the travel agents they give you one free night and a lot of upgrades
