hey girls .. do you have any recommendations for affordable photographers? our second reception is on LI but everything else is in california - so we really don't want to spend a lot of money on our photog there. but we still want good pictures. we might not need albums from them either.
any recs for something around or under $2000(approx.)

What sort of photographs do you want? Photojournalism like? Traditional? B/W? Color? Different lens? Creative poses? Etc...
I think that my photographers studio, Mark Kauffman can accomdate photos only (not albums) for $2K.

Hey I just booked my photographers last week thorugh Ariana Studios(wedding plaza). I got a great deal for just under $2000 including an album. My photographer is Ozzie, I've seen his work and he is very diverse in his photos. FM me if you want more info.

Another vote for Mark Kauffman. Tell him it is your 2nd reception so you don't need the same amount of coverage or albums.

I went with Devito Studios in Rockville Center, after carefully meeting with several photographers. I too was on a budget but wanted quality photos. They were very flexible in terms of packages and price. Hope this is helpful.

I am hiring a free lancer who works out of Ariana Studios. I know the studio has very reasonable packages. And if you're interested in working with a freelancer let me know and I'll forward you the info.
I also know Cassarino does excellent work and you can get there basic package for under 2k.
