hey- does anyone have any recommendations of affordable photogrpahers that may do a videographer package....I'm not sure what a good paying price is for a good photographer! Im open to any suggestions!

You should try Silverfox, I think it runs around $3300.00 depending on certain options.

Affordable is subjective. For some $7000 is affordable, for others only $2000 is affordable. IMHO, when it comes to photographers (and videographers) you should shop around and find someone whose pictures you like and whose personality you like. When all is said and done, photo and video are the only tangibles left when your wedding day is over, and it is the only thing you shouldn't skimp on.
ETA: We looked at 6 photographers before deciding on The Velvet Studio. He was not the most expensive photographer we saw, but he was the one that had the highest quality with a personality and an excitement and love for photography that came shining through when we met with him.

many photographers are willing to work with your budget if you are willing to forgo some items, i.e. one photographer instead of two, no parent albums etc. You'd be surprised.

We are using Artistic Images for photo and he is VERY affordable (FM me for more details) and we are using Timeless Treasures for video..also very affordable
