Hi Brides! Anyone have any recommendations for an affordable string soloist or ensemble for 1 hour? I was thinking of looking into one for the cocktail hour, which will be outside if it's a nice day. All suggestions (even responsible music students!) are welcome!!! This is a last minute decision so don't want to spend too much money... please let me know if you have any what reasonable prices for 1 hour are!

vintage string quartet. very reasonable. i looked into about 4 places and she is the nicest and the best price.

I agree.. they are so nice! I had them play at my ceremony, it made it so special! They were so much cheaper than I was expecting.. especially compared to how much the rest of the wedding cost me!
I used Miriam Shilling, who is a harpist. I believe it was around $500 for ceremony and cocktail hour. She was fantastic. My sister used her too and it added a really nice touch to the ceremony and cocktail hour. She'll play outside if it's an outside cocktail hour as well.
