Affordable Uplighting please!

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for uplighting? I really love how it make the room look but I can't go over budget.

Re: Affordable Uplighting please!

I am paying $350 for my uplighting from weddingdjweb.com. I only got the uplighting, not the dj.

My DJ provided the lights for an affordable cost as part of the package. You can get it for under $600 more than liklely.

I am using Bravura Entertainment

Re: Affordable Uplighting please!

I am using Studio 4 Productions! They were great. The lighting was the cheapest vendor I have.. He was also honest about using LED lights vs. uplighting .... LED cost more but not necessary and Uplighting is cheaper and you have many colors to choose from.... They even set up date to go to the RH with you so you can see how the lights look in the room. They own the equipment themselves which is why they can charge less then the vendors who are renting it out.

I'm also using Bravura and they threw in our uplighting for free for the winter months(Jan, Feb, March). I'd definitely check them out.

Re: Affordable Uplighting please!

ok, maybe i'm just being cheap, but does anyone think its possible to get uplighting (just lighting) for a couple hundred? I was given an estimate of $500 for my small reception.

Re: Affordable Uplighting please!

I just spoke to them there at weddingdjweb.com and he flatout refused to do just lighting, told me i would have to get the full dj package if i wanted lighting. :(

Re: Affordable Uplighting please!

I'm getting mine through my DJ. We are paying $500 for 20 lights, so $25 per light. All the places I got quotes from before that wanted $45 per light. Not sure if they will do just lighting though.
