Affordable wedding flowers?

Hi!
I am trying to find an affordable florist on Long Island. The florists I have found charge a minimum of $100 for the bouquets, which seems like alot of money. Does anyone know of a more affordable florist who does good work?

I'm using Flowers By Rori in Quogue. I took a class from her at Suffolk Community College and did the flowers for my brothers wedding (she helped me with the bride's boquet). I didn't even look around so I'm not sure what 'standard' rates are but I've always found her to be reasonable.

I was very happy with the quotes I got from her.

Try Donald Hedgecock. He's in Queens, but he'll deliver, and his prices are great! Info on my budget vendor webpage:

Try Flowers by Emil . He's in Brooklyn...but will deliver to LI. It's worth a trip...he was about $800 less than some of the other florists I visited...good luck.

I second luvsun. I love Flowers By Emil (a vendor on here). I use them for everything and I am using them for my wedding.

Try Expressions a vendor here. I got mine from there at about one thrid of what others had quoted me.
