So I've waited to do my florist as my last vendor. I contacted Michelle at Hidden Essence because I heard she was so affordable, but, she's booked up on my date. Could anyone share their florists and an avg of about what you are paying? You can message me if you don't want to share on the boards. Thanks soooo much!

Try Designs by Rose. I got her info from a friend of mine and she works with all budgets. She's not cheap, but fair and does amazing work. She even does a sample centerpiece for your first meeting with her. If you tell her your budget, and what you have in mind, she'll give you options on what will work with your vision.
We saved about $1000 less than what we were gonna spend with other florists. I think we ended up spending around $3600 for 15 tall centerpieces, 8 bridesmaid bqs, my bq, 2 mothers corsages, and she gave all the groomsmen's and groom boutonnieres for free, in addition to both father boutonnieres as well, and one flower girl basket.
Another option for a florist equal in price and quality is colonial florist in bellmore. I had a friend used them for her wedding, and they were great. I just went with rose bc I loved their personalities, and they were so quick with getting back to me with any little question that I had.

Colonial Florist in Lake Ronkonkoma. 631-588-3733. Ask for Tom, and tell him Kenny from Holy Cross sent you. He is fabulous and works with budgets. They do gorgeous work.

I'm using Flowers by Burton - they don't change the price based on the flower you use, just the item itself - they're worth getting a quote from at least to compare
