Here goes again...Does it look bad to add to my registry after people have purchased? I was telling my MOH that my registry was getting bought up and she was shocked and told me to add more! She said that the Shower is more than likely a ways away (she wont give me full details) but stressed that now I am not offering options for those that haven't purchased (maybe those that didnt' RSVP?).
She thinks that I should add Mid-ticket items... this way people can decide on more things to get.
I don't want to look greedy but is it OK to add on? Do you think people that have bought will even go back and know that I added? I don't want people to feel obligated to buy the big ticket items and I want there to be affordable options still for anyone that hasn't RSVP to any shower or maybe they can't attend ... Thoughts

I think that would be ok! I don't think anyone would really notice either....and if they did, they're looking to hard!

No, I think a lot of people have to do this.
As long as you aren't out talking about how you can't believe people didn't spent X amount of dollars on you, I'm thinking you're in the clear.
Make sure you register for about 2x the gifts of the amount of people you expect to show for your wedding and shower combined.
The more stuff the better and if everything isn't bought at the end of things... you can get a discount on anything you definitely want to buy with their completion programs.

Re: Afraid to ask but, registry help
thanks guys... was reading other posts which reminded me to ask this but afraid at the same time. Haha...
Just to let you know though...I am literally VERY excited to get my $12.99 shrimp cleaner for the shower! I love shrimp but hate prepping. I don't know most of FH extended family and family friends so I didn't want it to look bad.

ooohhh I didn't know they make shrimp cleaners!!! Oh snap. I have taking out the lil 'poops' from the tails.
But I refuse to register for something that is under what I am paying per plate. *sarcasm*

OH DEAR
LOL, incidentally, I bought my self a set of collapsable collanders today at costco for $15 and a pair of gardening gloves at home deopt for $3 today and after 2 hours of going on about how excited I was about both purchases, FH was making fun of me because 'it's the little things', hah
I've vocalized my feelings on wedding gift giving on many occasion, and I'm with you, I just wasn't going to get into it again tonight. But thanks for so eloquently restating what I've said many times before.

You can definitely add on. I kept updating mine every time we would think of something we needed.

No, I totally think it's fine to add. I had people tell me I was running out of things before my shower (which was a surprise) so I went on to add stuff.
