People are inconsiderate. I sent an e-mail to those that didn't respond, explaining that they need to let us know by 8/27 if they do not it will be assumed that they are not attending.
If they show up they will be asked to leave. I am not paying for them with my caterer if they didn;t respond. Why should we waste a couple of grand, on paying for the possibility we will need an additional 17 plates. We're also now in a private venue & having off premise catering. It may be easier for you to accommodate the possibility of the 21 guest at a catering hall.
I know it's additional stress, for no reason, either they can come or they can't you even provided the stamp..

Yea, I agree... I know most of the people who haven't responded in time will not attend, they are OOT and did not make hotel reservations or flights yet. But, I just don't understand...... AT ALL. I will never be that person ever again to not respond.
You either make it in your plan and say yes (then maybe cancel 2 weeks later if it doesn't work out or you don't. I'd actually appreciate a cancellation over a NO RESPONSE as crazy as it sounds. I had guests waiting around for 'flight deals' meanwhile going away or out of town each wknd. I am not upset, but, don't make it seem like it's in your plan.

Gotta love 'em...... Funny how 3 of the ppl who I haven't received their cards yet responded within 5 minutes of me sending them a FB message. I guess we should have done a FB event invite instead........
