I went looking for reception hall for a November wedding with at least 150 guests. I wanted a place where I could have the ceremony and the reception at the same location.
So I made a trip from Virginia and went to visit 7 halls...
1. East Wind Caterers 2. Swan Club 3. Westbury Manor 4. Floral Terrace 5. Watermill 6. Giorgios at Fox Hollow 7. Majestic Gardens
All the Halls were beautiful, some more than others, but I honestly could have had my wedding at any of them.
But our choice is the Majestic Gardens! I'm going to sign the contract Saturday!!!
I also have a ton of details on the other halls so I'll post what I know if anyone wants.. Just let me know which hall...

Yes it feels like a huge weight has been lifted. And honestly, all this excitement just comes rushing in...
For the questions throughout the topic..
I'm in Woodbridge VA moving (hopefully in May/June) to Alexandria VA or somewhere closer to DC.
Since I'm having a November wedding I'll probably have the ceremony inside, but if the month is mild enough I'd love to do it outside by the waterfall or in the secret garden...
About Elmo.. it was a fun pic to include.. i try to change it up to keep it interesting...
I have no idea what's next in the planning stages... the engagement party is 5/29/05 so I have some stuff to finish for that.. plus i can also give out little save the date magnets.. I love those!
