After 8 Years!!!!! **UPDATE**

Wow. Thats a long time. Do they both live in the same state?

It should be so exciting! What are you all planning to do together?

NO!!!! Well... my mom has met his parents, and 2 of his aunts that live with his parents.

But... The families haven't ever really gotten together to meet!!! We are having a Father's Day dinner, and my FH's parents, brother, 2 aunts, sister, 4 of sister's kids & sister's boyfriend are all coming to meet my parents and my sister!!!!!

Thats awesome!!!!!

They have spoken on the phone, but never met....

Ours didn't meet either after 7 years of dating (live too far away!!! GL! have fun! I was so nervous too since our parents are VERY different but everyone got along fine. Keep us posted.

Us too. After 6 years, my parents spent a weekend in NY to meet FH's parents, and I was soooo nervous. But it worked out and everyone loved each other. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

Our families are very different also. FH's parent are from Trinidad, and just do things differently. It should be interesting, but I'll update everyone tomorrow!!!
