After a long, emotional day.....

I first would like to thank you ladies for your kind words of support for the loss of my Granny. The past two days have been draining. She really did look beautiful and I was glad I could sing for her one last time (I used to sing and dance for her to the 'Beaches' soundtrack with I was little, so I sang Ave Maria for her at the church). I'm known to be stoic at times, but when they opened up the casket before leaving for church this morning, it made everything sink in Plus it makes it even harder to see family cry........there's something about my dad and brother crying that just kills me.

BUT on a happier note......I feel even more excited to marry my FH!!!!!!!! He was so great to my family and I. He really was there for me 110%. It felt amazing to have him by my side. I can't wait to marry him!!!!!!!

i am sure she was looking down on you singing and loved it!!!! glad you are doing better! it will get easier just give it time!!! Kudos to FH for being so wonderful!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss---it is really a tough thing....I know what you mean about your FH being there for you though--it really does make a huge difference!

I'm sure she adored you singing for her. That's something that is very special and I'm so glad you got to do that.
Seeing your family in pain, always adds to the pain you are already feeling. Give it time, the sharpness fades.

I'm very glad to hear how great your FH has been during this time. It's a very good test of someone's personality.

I'm sorry for your loss...but I'm sure she's sending you all her blessings from heaven. I'm glad that Fh really stood by you and your family's side.
