...I finally made my first wedding dress appointment for Saturday! I have some idea of what I'm looking for, but I'm using this appointment to really just try on as many silhouettes as I can to get an idea of what I like. I'm so excited!!
I can't post too much about it b/c some of FH's family are past LIW brides and might still be around. I want to keep the dress top secret but I still wanted to gush a little

This weekend is Lillette's in Bellmore and next weekend is Village Bridal. I'm saving Bridal Reflections for when I have a better idea of what style I like.

Haha...it was kind of the opposite with me! I've been excited about dresses for so long that when the time came, I actually got nervous and kept putting it off! My mom was finally like c'mon already!

I went to Village Bridal and Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and had a great experience at both places. Good luck!

No problem! From what I can tell you now, the woman who answered the phone at Lillette's (didnt catch her name) was super helpful! They didn't have a specific dress in stock that I wanted, but told me a salon that did and that they could order it. She also gave me tips about some of the other dresses I mentioned (that some were heavy and had a bubble hem which might not be the best for May). When I mentioned it was my first time trying dresses on, she actually sounded excited and told me we'll go through the racks together and pick out silhouettes and get me into everything. Hopefully the experience lives up to this phone call! lol

My cousin and my friend got their dresses at Lillettes and they LOVED it there. My friend said Geri (I think that was her name) was phenominal. Good luck!
