so this may be a private topic, so sorry if its too personal.... feel free to opt out!
FH and i got into this discussion tonight when talking about how our puppy is fixed. anyway, he thinks that he would be losing his manhood if he got a vasectomy, where i think its taking responsibility after i have basically been the one who worries about it for the past 5 years. not to mention that i've been ingesting some sort of chemical for who knows how long...
anyway, just wondering if you have discussed this with your FH and what you all plan on doing

Well, I selected we will use condoms. I wouldn't want him to have a vacs and I wouldn't want to tie the tubes because you NEVER know.

I would never tie the tubes it is a risky procedure. Yes done everyday but i know people who have had problems afterward. So no thanks. I think FH shoul dhave a Vas. Its an In/Out procedure & its not risky with very little pain & after effects. Plus he wouldnt be losing his manhood. I mean there snipping a tube not the whole enchilada! hahahahaha

i put BCP, but that's not for us really. i'll prob go the IUD route after babies bc i won't be so worried about fertlity risks.

We've talked about how many kids we want so we know once we rich that number that's it for us. He's volunteered to have a vasectomy. There's no way I'm going on the pill again (it really messed with my emotions) and we both hate using condoms. And we'd both die if we never had sex again.

I put down wont do BC - just because I would end up not doing a OCP but most likely doing the Depo Shot again (amazing!) or doing an IUD - i dont want to have to worry about doing any invasive surgery on either of us...

I'm pretty sure i'd go back on BCP's. Ive never had problems with taking them so either that or maybe the iud.

Ill just take the pill. I wouldnt want him to have a snip because he wants alot of kids and if we end up with more money he'll want more kids lol

For me there will be no after babies. More like after wedding- the tubes are getting tied. We are probably in the minority but we dont want kids. Call us horrible people but...........at least we agree.

we haven't had any yet together and i think i need to see a ttc doc i don't know if i can have any more so if it happens at this point great if not then we have my daughter who is a blessing since i was told a while back i wouldn't have any
