After being here so long, I have a few things to say...
As much as I feel it's probably my time to leave LIW, I feel that I owe it to all of the awesome people I've met here to say goodbye in a proper way.
First, I need to say THANK YOU to all of the people who FMed me today. You made me feel so loved and I needed that today! My nerves are getting the best of me, and it is nice to know that people care and take notice.
I am not leaving LIW for GOOD, but I am looking forward to moving past this stage of my life and onto marriage. JT and I have been engaged for over two and half years, and I am just ready to move on. Things have moved so slowly, yet passed so quickly, all at the same time and I need time to have some identity away from being a 'bride'. It seems that that's all I've been to many people (myself included!) since he put that ring on my finger!
He and I have great things ahead for us, as do all of you with your Fhs and DHs. Remember to enjoy your relationship if you are still planning and to not lose sight of what is really important. Those of you who have read my posts know that I've had many ups and downs in this planning with my family and friends and my in-laws, but at the end of the day, it just doesn't matter because JT and I have each other, and it's more than enough to make up for what's lacking in everyone else.
With ALL of that said... I will say that I have the MOST amazing man in the world. Those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting him will probably agree that JT is the most adorable, caring, kind person there is. He treats me the way I never thought I could be treated. And to show his love for me, he bought me MORE bling as my wedding gift
So, to finish my rather dragged out post, I will leave you with this:
If you man REALLY loves you, he says it with diamonds
And THAT'S what I've learned from LIW!
