After months of planning my bp party gifts, I feel like they are a little boring...

I'm at the point where I'm going to wrap my bp gifts, and I put everything together last night, and even though it cost a lot of money, it looks kind of 'barren' when all together....:(

This is what I got them:

Gold / pearl necklace and earring set from FemmeGems in Manhattan

Got them shawls made to match their dresses in case it gets cold

Little black purses

Personalized compacts

and that's it....I feel bad because my MOH has spent SO much $$$ on me...last weekend at my bridal shower, she gave me a personalized tote from LL Bean that was filled with stuff for my honeymoon - Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone, etc...the whole thing must have cost her $200...now I feel cheap!!

I'm going to add a spawish.com gift certficate for $100 to her bag, but I feel like I should do something else....what do you girls think??

What you got them already sounds wonderful. Don't overthink it.

I have been feeling the same way. I have been BLOWN away by what my girls have done for me (and yes, spent on me) and I too sometimes feel like my gifts are not 'enough'

but it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to spend on their gifts what they have spent on me, and they would KILL me if I tried. I am coming to realize (though it's still a process LOL) that they did these things b/c they LOVE me and are genuinely HAPPY for me and HAPPY to do them.

I got my girls (Maid & Matron) a Tiffany silver necklace, a chanel perfume, a coach key chain AND I am paying for their mani/pedi and a BM brunch...does it come close to what they have done for me..NO...am I genuinely grateful and indebted to them YES...where the gifts picked out to express my love for them...YES...

don't get them something JUST to feel 'equal' or closer to 'equal' in the money area...if they know you love and appreciat them, any gift should be mroe than well received.

wow! i think that's a lot! with the weddings that either fi or i have been part of, the girls typcially just get jewelry or a purse. i think you're being very generous.

I totally understand what you mean!

I am feeling like my gifts will be inadequete too, but I just can't spend any more $$$.

I think that no matter what, they don't expect to get hundreds of dollars worth of gifts. Sounds like you got them some really thoughtful and useful gifts.

A gift is a gift so anything you are giving is a form of thanks and should be a token of appreciation, not by $$$ spent.
And from what you posted, they sound like great gifts! I would love 'em.
