After my slice of pizza on Wednesday...

I didn't get any reflux ( ), but what I did get was far, far worse.

There is a horrific stomach virus going around, and it came to visit me without warning at about 9:00 Wednesday night. This is my first trip out of bed since then (besides going to vomit), and I still don't feel all that great.

I hope no one else gets it!!!!

Ugh, thats a terrible feeling. Do you have Gatorade or something you can drink to try to keep from dehydrating? Feel better.

A quick question, possibly TMI...

My urine is bright orange. Could this be because the only fluids I've ingested in the last 36 hours have been only orange Gatorade, ginger ale, and orange juice, or do you think it's something I should be concerned about??

Jenn, you poor thing! Um....perhaps the orange color is from your vitamins? Are you still taking them, despite the stomach flu?

Oh no, I hope you fell better soon.

I would call the doctor about the color issue. When I drink a lot of Diet Pepsi it doesn't change color, if you get my drift. I also only drink OJ when I am sick and have never experienced that.

The only time I have seen bright orange was when I was at Cortland and they made everyone on campus take some strange medicine when two students came down with menengitis. Then it was Halloween orange.

You're probably ok, Jenn. One of my in laws had a problem with their urinary tract and he was drinking lots of cranberry juice and suppposedly his urine had a red tint. Naturally he thought it was blood but the doctor said it was from drinking little but the juice.

The urnine color wouldn't concern me as much as your stomach flu. Make sure you are drinking, drinking, drinking and if you get a high fever call the doctor asap. Dehydration can lead to pre-mature labor so remember FLUIDS are your friend...
Smart Water has electrolites in it, like gatorade without all the sugar. That might help too.
