after party dress..

after party dress..

So I'm absolutely in love with this dress:

I want to get it for the after party. (I want to change into something more comfortable, but still be a bride in a white). The only problem is they dont have my size on the website

Does anyone know how much you can get a dress taken in? I would need to have the dress taken in like 4 sizes if i got the smallest size they had right now...and i dont know if tailors can do that.

I think they'd be able to do it. I always get thinks taken up or in and if you go to a good tailor, they can do just about anything.

Don't quote me but I heard if you take it in more than 2 sizes it doesn't line up right..but take the pic to a seamstress or tailors and ask they would know best

dresses can be taken in 4 sizes the most. Also remember that even doing 4 sizes which is usually the max, depending on detail of the dress it can take away from it.

One of my bm's had to take in her dress about 4-5 sizes, the seamstresses had to go a bit further than normally but worked out.

as far as price it all depends. I once went to the cleaners to take in a dress just a little and cost $60, but thats bc they had to do it at the waist and then also on top by the armpit part bc it was sticking out a bit.

i dont think its a problem, my dress is getting take in a lot and it has a lot of beadwork.... but i would def bring apicture to a tailor and ask them if they think they could do it.... ALSO, make sure that you can return the dress just in case you cant find someone who can take it in
