I'm getting married at Eastwind in Wading River and we want to start booking hotel rooms. Our wedding ends at 6pm so we were planning on taking a limo out somewhere and then staying at a hotel near the location we go out. BUT i have NO IDEA what bars are good out near the northfork for an afterparty. Any ideas?
you can book a hotel and have an after party there. That's what we're doing
us too! Then we don't have to travel again after after-party!

we partied at the hotel where we booked the rooms. that way no one had to get in the car or worry about how they were getting around. the hotel kept the bar open for us.
we are having an afterparty at my moms house. just finger foods, a pool, big yard and then when ppl get tired, we can go to the hotel
There's a place in greenport right on the water. I think it's called Claudio's, anyway, had a great time there! HTH!
