I'm having a Saturday afternoon wedding and the reception ends at 6:00p. Any ideas for where to have an after party in the Woodbury area (near CHCC)? We're staying at Fox Hollow but I've heard they don't allow that sort of thing.

really?? they said that? the guy at fox hollow i met with was going on and one about how his whole family stayed there and they hung out by the pool bc they all got those poolside rooms. He totally implied that they afterpartied it up.
I'm thinking all hotels discourage it but you are paying them, as long as you are respectful of the other rooms late at night what can they do?

Yeah I would double check with how you ask them about 'afterparty' because we almost chose FHCC and although he said the do not have a bar and discourage room parties, all guests are welcome to make use of the pool and lounge area while they are open....and they sell alcohol and snacks at the front desk.
Otherwise maybe you can ask them for a list of bars or lounges in the area and you can set something up there.

I would check to see if they have a room to hang out in and then bring some snacks and drinks there.
I didn't choose that hotel because they didn't have a bar, but he did say they had a seperate room for brunch the next morning that I could rent.. not sure if you want to ask about that and have everyone go there?

I went to a wedding at fox hollow and afterwards we all met in someone's room and made that the Afterparty. No one got in trouble or anything. There were like 20 people in one room too LOL
the bathtub was filled with ice and made into our cooler LOL

Just had my day wedding on the 4th and we hung out at Nisen's afterwords...it's an asian fusion bar/lounge...it's awesome, right in the woodbury strip mall like 1/2 mile away from the fox hollow
call the mgr they hooked us up with half price drinks! top shelf and food too!!!

Yea i wanted to do my room block at FH but they dont have a bar!!!! So we are all going back to the hotel we booked, Four Points by Sheraton, and hanging out at the bar!

amazing! This is what I'm hoping we can do after our wedding
