After party in Woodbury

After party in Woodbury

After checking into an after party at Fox Hollow (not worth the $ as far as I can see) FH and I have been trying to think of bars in the Woodbury area where we can have an after party. Nothing fancy, just somewhere people can go if they're still in the mood to drink and hang out. Our reception is over at midnight and all the places I've called are closed by then (most were actually restaurants). Any suggestions?

Not the nicest bar in the world, but The In Between is right near Fox Hollow on Jericho Turnpike...

rare olive? it's somewhere on Jericho further east. not too far though from Woodbury. nice classy place. my friends seem to love it but I've never been there.

actually that might now be closed. I'm not finding anything on google. economy ruined everything lol. If I was you i'd drive down Jericho and go to different bars and check them out. go further east because once you start heading west you won't really hit anything on Jericho.

OMG!! This was our exact situation at Fox Hollow! They led us to believe when we booked we could have an after party there. I too was totally bummed when we found out 2 MONTHS BEFORE THE WEDDING! So I did a ton of research and it hit me at the Fox Hollow Bridal show while sitting on the Party bus from Alexis Legends! The Party bus was the perfect place for an after party! So that's what we did and it was the best thing we could have done. We're still hearing about how much fun the bus was. What we did was have the bus stay in the parking lot of the hall so it wouldn't disturb the other guests in the hotel. It didn't go anywhere. Which was perfect b/c my sister is Pregnant so she was able to stay on the bus as long as she could and then retreat back to her room. We had people going back and forth all night. People were leaving the bus for a nap and coming back to party again. We didn't tell everyone what the after party was but told them it was a BYOB so we didn't have to worry about what people drank. The bus came with a butler who fished out drinks from the cooler on the bus so our guests didn't have to. He also supplied us with awesome dance music the whole night. We partied on that bus til the sun came up! They even cleaned up what little mess we left behind. I highly recommend this as a solution. We loved it so much I'm thinking of Surprising DH with the bus for his 30th birthday.

What an amazing idea! That is great! Can I ask how much it was to have the bus stay there? We are also trying to figure out what to do, especially since we are doing a 'twilight' reception and will be done at 8pm. Everyone wants to know were the after party is! My crazy family loves to party all night.

This is definitely a possiblity. Do you mind FMing me price info and how many people the bus will fit? We have a pretty huge guest list and we're not sure how many to plan on staying. Thanks!
