Can anyone reccomend any places around chcc for an after party? I need a hotel with a bar that will stay open till late.

I would try the Huntington Hilton, Melville Marriott or the Garden City Hotel (but that's a bit further away).

I have rooms blocked off at the 4 Points Sheraton in Plainview and they are keeping the bar open for me until 4am (for an extra $150). I think it's totally worth it because I don't really plan on drinking much during the wedding!!

I always wnted to have an aftr party, I just think I would be to tired. But, it might just have to happen.

I would definitely try the 4 Points Sheraton. I got the shuttle through them too! That would take care of all your needs right there!
I sent out the hotel info with the STD's.

I'm a chcc bride. I booked at Melville Marriott but their bar closes early My friend who blocked at the Islandia Marriott rented a convention-like room and everyone brought their own drinks (some had stocked up in hotel room and we also had the bus stop on the way to the hotel) and leftover desserts from the reception. I'm going to ask Melville Marriott if we can do something similar--if I have a large crowd going back to the hotel.

I'm doing word of mouth and putting the info in the OOT bags. I totally forgot about the 4 Points (I have no idea why b/c that's where I blocked rooms..duh!) but the 4 Points and the Huntington Hilton both have shuttles available.

Do you have a hotel room already booked? I say have the after party there. If there are no bars opened, people can buy liquor and party in the room. That is always soo much fun

Melville Marriott;s bar is closed at midnight on friday and Im not sure of the bar hours on Saturday, but I think its 12:30, you would have to double check that one........We are staying there the night of our wedding, but by the time we get back the bar will have been closed for over an hours which is a real bummer.....Huntington Hiltons bar is open very late I beleive.
