After party questoin

Ladies, my FH wants to do an afterparty after the RH... I am totally okay with this. The thing is his sister did it at the bar/lounge of the hotel where she did her room block for her wedding (really far from where ours will be). So I looked into the hotels around great neck and they dont have lounges/bar and the response was that 'everything closes early around here.' So what should I do? Should we do it at an outside lounge and then have guests pay there? Do I have to pay because a large group is coming?

Im confused! Help!!

Even though our Reception ends after midnight we want to do an afterparty as well. The INN at Fox has a beautiful lounge room (not a bar)so we are purchasing beer wine & some liquor cups etc. & having it in there.

I suggest asking if they have a small party room of conference room at the hotel u r staying at.
