We are having an afternoon wedding on a Saturday in June, so we'd like to continue the party afterwards. Does anyone have suggestions for a location for an afterparty in Western Suffolk or Nassau? Outdoors or on the water is a plus! Thanks in advance...

My parents are hosting a little party at the hotel everyone is staying at after the wedding....because our's will end at around 5:30 on Saturday.

My cousin rented a suite at the hotel we all stayed and and arranged for some finger foods and drinks to come up!
It was nice because my cousins live so far away we dont see them that much!!

I know you can rent out the picinic area at Robert Moses but the guests may have to pay to park if you don't go before hand and speak to the office. Also that doesn't leave you with any rainy day options.
Cocos is really nice though and right on the border of where you are looking!
I heard they are re-doing the bar and restaurant at Jones Beach, maybe try that?

Thanks for all the suggestions. Our reception ends at 6:30PM so we want the party to last into the night - are there any beaches that don't kick you out at dark?
