I promise we will do this. Please give me a little time to get things together. Right now I am focusing my attention on helping Janet.

Don't feel badly about suggesting a contest-it's terrible that this is happening to them and it puts things in perspective but you haven't done anything to feel badly about. Our hearts go out to them-contest or no contest.

No I don't, but somehow I feel I do... I'm so heartbroken over this. There' s a thread on LIF that Janet started that everyone has been posting on.

Please do not feel bad. Having contests and fun is what we are all about. But we are also about people and helping them when the occasion arises. This is just one of those occasions where some things have to be placed on hold to help someone in need. Thank you all for your understanding and support!

Ron, anything that I can do...don't hesitate to ask. I know monetary donations are welcome and I plan on contributing what I can.

A donation to a general fund of some sort perhaps? I can't even think!!

Details for contributions are on the post on LIF.
She is going to need a lot of monetary support for details that I am not posting. Very sad!

Ron - about Janet - what if you set up a paypal account for donations? More people might be able to donate that way, I know I'm personally more comfortable with paypal than sending checks... checks get lost.

I don't even know if it would work, but I figure it couldn't hurt to suggest it.

And bless you for doing everything you can to help her!

This is really more than any human should have to bear. I am truly sorry for her and her family and I will continue to pray because miracles do happen.

Thank you for the suggestion. My concern with paypal is you have fees to pay thus reducing the amount that will go to Janet.
