After reception party question.

We're having a day wedding (Saturday 12:30-5:30). For an after party, I'd like to consider booking the bar at the hotel we choose for an after party. Maybe wine/beer/appetizers. Has anyone heard of such a thing, and if they have, potentially the cost? Maybe doing a 'pay your own way' thing so people can snack and drink whatever they choose and pass out in their rooms whenever they like? Thanks!

my step - brother did this unfortuantely I was put on dog duty and had to go back home. it was more for the BP and OOT, they had brunch the next day as well in the hotel.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Since all of FH's side are coming from Seattle, he wanted to do a daytime wedding so we had the evening to see and party with everyone sort of informally. I will have to more investigating on this!

Anyway, we looked into having something at the bar downstairs of the hotel. Our hotel I think charges 250 for the room and set up, they provide the alcohol and its a cash bar so everyone buys their way, and we're just gonna get like 6ft heros, somthing simple.
